Try to find something you have in common and go with that. Since most people LOVE to talk about themselves, ask about her, maybe ask what her favorite store to shop - food to eat, etc. Since I don't know what icq is - can't really answer.

First of all i wouldnt want sum fake talking to me. Second of all yeah u should worry about skool not the peeps on icq.

Talk about a really hot guy, that neither her or her friends are going out with and tell her they should totally date. Always let her start the conversations and only talk about you if SHE asks you about you. If she's like me, though, she'll want to talk about her.

This so called popular girl is prob very sad inside and the only good thing in her life is having people like you think she is popular.
Forget about her and focus on real firends, the ones that will be there for you when you need them!

a boy? be careful not to say anything stupid though, you don't want to give her anything to use against you. and when you guys start talking alot, make sure SHE starts the conversations, you don't want to look to desperate.
