True Hawaiians are Polynesian and Samoan. Everyone else has immigrated. Haven't they all though. The first Hawaiians came over on canoes. People today do it on cruise ships and planes.

My best friend is Hawaiian, and she always checks the box that says "Pacific Islander" under the ethnicity catergory on those evil standardized tests. So, I'm assuming they're considered Pacific Islanders.
