Blood test is more accurate. You can take a blood test 3 days after you have sex and find out. My sister could take a urine test in her 9th month and still get a negative, it just depends on how high your bodies hormone levels are. Get the blood test, it will tell you for sure.

Yes a blood test is more accurate. The home test came up neg for me but the blood test was positive at 2 weeks preg.

They are both accurate, its just that a blood test can detect the hormone a lot sooner than a urine test. So your sister probably took the urine tests too soon (hence the negative result), but a blood test can detect it a lot sooner (hence the positive test).

Blood tests are way more accurate. The home tests can give you a false negative reading, because the pregnancy hormone is not as strong in urine in the early stages of pregnancy.

Blood is the most accurate; it's what doctors use to verify the urine test.

I actually had a blood test that was negative, when I was indeed pregnant.
I went on thinking I wasn't pregnant, I was upset that I wasn't and continued on my party-like lifestyle. Not good. Either somebody screwed up or blood tests aren't so accurate after all

A blood test is more accurate. They can also measure the hormone levels and find out how many weeks she is.
