When going to an interview act upbeat/ never bad mouth a former employer, dress appropriately ie: like a conservative republican. Apply for jobs that you are qualified for. Don't fudge on your resume or skills, you can play up to your skills and experience just don't lie. If you have body piercings/ take them out for the interview, if you have tatoos' keep them covered. Speak clearly, don't use slang words. Say yes/no/ please /thankyou. Conduct yourself and present yourself in a respectful way, sit up straight, and for God's sake don't chew gum. Have your resume and references handy and ready. When listing why your leaving your past position, tell them your ready for new challenges- again don't say anyhting negative about your old job or employer. When asked what your sort comings are, tell them that you tend to work too hard, and over estimate time management. Good Luck on your job hunt, life is too short to give up now.

Speak to your manager or if you don't have a good relationship than speak to their manager. Perhaps a change of departments would be all you would need to perk up your lagging career.
Also make a list of things that don't work for you in your present company and create a list of solutions that don't involve you looking for another job. Maybe there are changes you can make immediately that will keep you happy in your current position.
Getting a new job on average takes about 3 months depending on the economy. Keep applying and try to solve the issues you have with your current job, It will give you a better sense of accomplishment and change your current desperate state to one of more ease when interviewing.

Unless you're under the threat of physical violence, don't quit your current job until you have another one. Employers seem to look more favorably on you if you're currently employed rather than unemployed.
Maybe you need to brush up on your interview techniques. Is there a friend you could practice with that could be honest enough to let you know if you're not presenting yourself in the best possible way?
Good luck!

I think u should reevaluate urself by the means of improving urself. I dun know wat qualifications u have so hard to comment on this... As said by others, u may lower ur expectation of the benefits of ur new job such as lower ur salary expectation, settling for a lower position or maybe try to look for a job that are new and the one that u have interest in. Maybe u are new to it but with enthusiasm, I think u will be doing fine.

If your financial situation permits you to quit, then quit. If you're like the rest of us and have bills to pay, then you hit the nail on the head. Keep looking. There are no easy answers. I suppose you could go postal. Then you could go to prison, and not have to worry about the bills. Problem is, in prison, everyone is someone else's b----! Good luck... Only kidding about going postal, please don't really do that!

Don't quit until you've landed another job. As bad as your job is, it's not worth the trouble of living without income and making your family do so as well, if you have one.

if you aren't in a horrible situation, then quit your job and wait until another oppertunity come
but if you NEED the money desperately keep your job! just wait until you know for sure you have another job to quit, having enough money to stay alive is very important
good luck!
