NO. I believe people's benefits are running out therefore the decrease is misleading.. People read the low figure in their local newspapers and believe the unemployed have found employment when in reality there are still unemployed and have simply exhausted their benefits...

Sure, when people have to work 2 or 3 jobs because the Corporations are outsourcing jobs that pay a living wage. It is a perspective, and twisting of statistics. You can make statistics say anything you want. Either way, the Engineer who is working at McDonald's because his job went overseas - is - technically employed. Can s/he make a living wage? that is the real question.

No!! I believe it's at an all time high. In Michigan there are some many people out of work because we are ran by the auto industries and with the price of gas that hearts no one is buying.

I beleive it. I work for the State of PA dealing with Unemployment Compensation. I know for a Fact that there are less unemployed people in PA then there have been for years

well what do you think considering the fact that i graduate from high school this year and i was out of school may 24th and started looking for a job on may 26th and guess what i started work on july 17. and i know it is not only me with this problem because where i work at 5-6 people come everyday asking for employment applications

No. I think the real unemployment numbers are not reported by the methodology they use.

its at an all time high if you look at the jobs census, but that only takes into account the people who are still looking for jobs, it doesnt could the people who just stopped all together looking for jobs. I think that we are at an average right now, but looking at my crystal ball it looks bleak.

Yes, I do. However, that doesn't mean that the people who are in jobs aren't underemployed, meaning that they are working well below their skill level.
