No one wants open war with the USA, much less the entire west. That is suicide.

There are elements from all over the developing world, and within most Muslim dominated countries, that do hate the west, but are far too afraid to fight directly.

That is why we live with terrorism.

Terrorists do not attack regular army units, and attacks against regular army personal are by definition not terroist attacks.

Terrorists are cowards who target non-combatants in or to sow fear and confusion.

Terrorists do not represent the majority of a single country on this palnet.

I don't think countries want to start a war with the most powerful country on the planet because they are jealous, that is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard. They do want to start a war with us because of our support for Israel, dictators, and what they see as immorality. If you really want to know who wants to start a war with us, look at Russia and China, they are genuine threats in this day and age unlike the Islamics who just like to talk a whole lot but are pretty much incapable of doing anything significant.

Its no secret. Iran is begging for a war. That have hated Israel since the beginning of time. Iran and Syria will not be satisfied until Israel or themselves are competely destroyed. We are so close to WWW 3 it is scary. It is just a short matter of time. They are not content to live and let live. All they know is war. And not to mention that Korea is acting like Japan did right before they bombed Pearl Harbor. Within 3 years we will be in all out war. This is nothing compared to what it is going to be. nobody wants it. But it is going to happen.

I disagree. I believe all countries nowadays are connected through a world government. This government works through a network of secret societies. The one-world government desires war, and plays the countries against eachother. The only winners are the corporations and the losers are the people in all countries who are not super rich.

I think that the radicals in the Islamic community are mentally disturbed. They don't want open war with the West. They only want to nip at our heels until they have bought enough firepower to defeat us.

However, therein lies the fallacy in their thinking. In the short term, our technological superiority will usurp their religious zeal and dogma. In the long term, their current advantage in carbon based fuels will be erased with the advent of alternative fuels and hydrogen based energy sources.

First off all not all branches of Islam are the same, some like the Ahmadi for example are quite tollerant of other ways of life and other beliefs. Not all majority-Islamic nations are antiwestern.

i dont think the people of islam or the people fo the west want war. i do think that the interests of the gop and g.w. bush want war. this is my opinion and as i see it many others opinion. the reason is as said many times before follow the money to see who really wants war. if you do this i think you will form the same opinion.

Isn't a shame that we have delivered the world from evil and yet it still wants our sons and daughters to die? Why because we do not see Allah as the supreme being that they do-Allah-Muhammed-Jesus-All of them preach prejudice because THEY ARE CHOSEN AND ONLY THOSE THAT FOLLOW THEM ARE AS WELL-I chose to believe in my fellow man and the fact that i was brought here through the love of two people as proof of their Love for one another over rides any religious text I have ever read!
