Hello, I'm an Indian and I was wondering how to get myself from not tanning while swimming in the sun. I use SPF 30 Sun block but it hardly seems to help. I get tanned too much after every swim!! Please help.

I would use a hihger SPF. I know they make at least up to an SPF of 50. Also, make sure to apply your sun block at least a half hour prior to heading out side. Even if your sun block says that it is waterproof make sure to re-apply it after you get out of the water. Reguardless of how "waterproof" it says it is, some will always wash off in the water.

Other than that, my only suggestion would be, when you get out of the water, wear a large rbrimmed hat and protective clothing. Good luck!

Agreed--try SPF 50; also, even waterproof has to be reapplied every few hours generally.

Maybe it has been washing off in the water? Do you use a waterproof sunblock? If you do, try a higher SPF. Good luck.
