If you could bring back one UK Children's TV programme from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, which one would it be (and if possible why)?

E.g. The Wombles.

I will leave this open and put the best answer to a vote at the end.

Wow! - what a groovy trip down memory lane.

Thanks everyone - soon be time to open it up to a vote.

I saw a few for Clangers but did anyone mention Fingerbobs...... I didn't spot that?

And just think - if Hector had a standard repayment mortgage on his house, he would've paid for it by now...boy, that makes me feel old.

Mcdonalds and sweet classified ads are scarce lately because they're attempting to stop toddlers ingesting too most of the incorrect foodstuff. The case of the more youthful boy contained in the North East as seen on the archives is a excellent reason. it is the mum and father that choose coaching. If an man or woman is overweight that is their own doing as they opt for what to eat yet a figure might want to make certain their toddlers eat a balanced foodstuff routine. Mine are allowed the occaisional lunch from Mac's yet continuously pass for the fillet of fish or the poultry nuggets. possibly you should apply the govrnments new promotion coverage to respond to your survey.

A UK made show? Gotta be an Oliver Postgate. Probably the Clangers - they don't get much better than that.

I used to love Mr. Benn, it was just so exciting every week seeing what adventures that he would get up to but I also loved Rolf's Cartoon Club with Rolf Harris and the main reason I loved that show was Rolf Harris himself- he is the most intereting man especially when you're seven!!
