If your report is for the lying tabloids, then yes... otherwise, whatever... most girls get over Barbie and the fact that you have to work hard to get what you want...

First. let us look at reality. Barbie is not a living thing so is therefore unable to perform or experience that of any human. The toy is without sexual organs which also denies sexual activities are capable of being used. Secondly, what she is or does is up to the individual imagination. It can be transformed into various roles which are up to the living being who chooses for it. To say it is this, is in your mind. Does a child of a prostitute mean that it also is a prostitute? Does the fact that Ruth Handler got the idea from a doll associated with prostitution mean anything to her version? If your relative was a prostitute, would that make you one? Too many try to give this toy labels such as slut for example that is only for real human beings.

Yes, we all knew Barbie was baced on a prostitute, so what. She is a doll, so SHE can not be a prostitute. I don't believe anyone has stopped their child from playing with her, because she was baced on a prostitute. I mean, just look at how long she's been around! I don't know any little girls that haven't played with Barbie. You afraid you'll become one if you play with her?

What do you mean Brabie is a prositiute? She is a DOLL. My opinion is that Brabie is a pretty boring toy, but some kids jsut absolutely love them. I don't think we need to makea political issue out of it. The more we gripe and worry aobut how we don't measure up to Barbie's high standard of beauty, the more we tell our daughters how insecure we are. Meanwhile, the girls are jsut enjoying cutting off all Barbie's hair, and changing her outfits, both of which are fine-motor practice. Also, the kdis are play-acting out different scenarios, which is a great pre-literacy and literacy skill. We al jsut need to take a deep breath and chill out about our poor blonde friend Barbie.

Prostitution is the act or practice of engaging in promiscuous sexual relations especially for money. You would have to study American law to see if prostitution is illegal.I can charge for just about any other service why would it be wrong or a crime to charge for sex?Sex right now is a big grey zone.Barbie a prostitute?Could be the greatest thing ever for your kids intellect.

No I wouldn't. I would want my kids to engage in imaginary play that is appropriate and something to look forward to in the future and being a hooker is not something I want my child to become...Play with doctor barbie!

Barbie is not a prostitute, why would you think that?

Absolutely NOT! I don't have children of my own, but I wouldn't even let my niece play with it. Prostitution, in any form, is a sin!
