I'm having the same problem right now. My abdomen really hurts, but I'm not pregnant b/c I took a test to be sure. I think it is just a reaction to missing pills & then taking them. This has happened to me before & the cramps went away after like 5 days on its own. Hope we both feel better soon.

That has happened to me too and I wasn't pregnant. I can get very bad cramps when I miss my pills. I also get really bad cramps if I choose to skip a period (like if I'm camping.) I am in so much pain for the next months period. I wouldn't be too concerned now. You messed with your body and it's letting you know it. I'd wait till you are supposed to have your period and if nothing shows up, I'd take a test a couple days after that. But even a missed period at this point could happen because you took two a day. Pills may not be the best choice for you (I was horrible about taking them on time.) If you feel comfortable, maybe the patch would work better for you.

I heard, but it is uncomfirmed, that you can take your regular birth control pills like those pills you take ...I think they are called morning after pills or 72 hour pills. You may have accidently done that when you decided to take two pills a day.

Implantation happens approximately per week after notion. Since you're best 2 or 3 days beyond 'viable' notion the ones cramps are undoubtedly no longer implantation cramps. I revel in cramping earlier than, for the period of and for a couple of days after ovulation. My OB says it is normal to have ovulation cramping for a couple of days after. I am guessing that is what you're experiencing. Good success!

I doubt it, it sounds like you quit the pill for a few days and then took 2 at a time, that has to have some kind of effect on your body. I don't think you even ovulated, remember, after the last pill you took, it took your body to get rid of the excess hormones for about 30 hrs so that is another day and a half and I don't think another day and a half could have done anything to you. You are fine, it is just that if you don't take your pills as prescribed you mess yourself up. From now on don't miss pills in the middle. I used to get those cramps too whenever I forgot to take the pill, my husband was overseas so I kept forgetting to take them so it is completely normal, don't worry!

Being no doctor, this may or may not help. In my experience, what I've found is when I've forgotten pills and then doubled up, it was my body trying to 'start' since you'd already been off of them. I'd give it another week or two (or however long it is from now to make a month) then take a pregnancy test. I was never pregnant because I had to have special medicine to even ovulate and get pregnant. (chlomid)

I really hope this helps. Good luck. And when in doubt, call you doctor. He/she'll be able to answer better than I ever would. And they will be able to help you count from the 'date of last menstrual' to now.
