You see what the American government has fooled a lot of the American people into believing is the right thing to do. After this Lebanon attack we have paid for, I hope my fellow Americans will wake up from their media controlled trance and see the truth. That American government is in the hands of a Zionist murderous regime. We need to stop the terrorism, correct, but we are the terrorists. There is no real democracy anymore. We are now a nation run by fascists. I apologize to the world for the ignorance of most American people who do not or refuse to see the truth. It is an embarrassing time for us as our nation contributes to deaths of innocents in the Middle East.

Yes, most Americans want peace all over the world. Even arms dealers can still sell in times of peace due to the threat of war. However, Americans will support war if seen for its own protection. Iraq was a war to prevent Sadam Hussein from supplying terrorists with weapons of mass destruction. Lebanon and Palistine threatened Israel by kidnapping its soldiers. The USA condones the use of violence against terrorists as a policy, and therefore does not instruct Israel to cease fire. The USA wants peace - it's the terrorists who don't.

Shouldn't you be more concerned about the goal of Islamic Fundamentalists, which is to kill all infidels in the world so the earth can be united under Islam? The fact that you ask such an inane question belies your true beliefs. I don't buy your rhetoric for a second. If you were really concerned about peace you AND ALL FOLLOWERS OF ISLAM would stand up, united and denounce the activities of your fellow Muslims instead of pointing the finger at the Americans.... just ridiculous. You couldn't point to one single Muslim leader in the world who has denounced the atrocities and who has called for an uprising against those wayward murderers who have hi-jacked your faith.

Maybe the average american desired peace but certainly not the US defence industry, conflicts are always a source of their revenue, they will always have people lobbying in the white house or Hill to keep an eye for their interests.
As such, USA is none other than an acronym for United Syndicate Of Ammunitions, the leading provider of solutions to international conflicts and the startup for all conflicts. It 's all business acumens, nothing personal when you and your loved ones are not the ones fighting the war.

Sure. Doesn't seem to make sense does it? Killing for peace. Kinda like screwing for virginity.
Police kill to enforce the peace, the rules that keep civilization going. They kill a lot of people and sometimes they kill inocent people.
America has ended up with the gun and badge in much of the world. They stepped into the international vacuum left by the colonial powers.
Any international peacekeeping force will end up killing people. It happens. But without such a force many more would die. Or so the justification goes.

don't confuse what our self-serving leaders do with what the amercian people want. the current leaders stole the election and are acting to fatten their pockets with money. i am so tired of people thinking all amercians think like our aggressive leaders. i would love for there to be peace all over the world. i saw a good bumper sticker on a car yesterday that read "not every problem has an american solution." Of course, when we are being threatened always and our citizens are being killed by the thousands...you have to expect that our war hungry government will seize the opportunity.

Sometimes to make peace you must go to war. Had we not have invaded Iraq, Suddam could have started another war. And how do you blame the US for Palastine and Lebanon, thats Israel and Condelezza Rice is there trying to calm tensions.

The average American wants peace but corporate America does not. There is money to be made in those wars. Uniform manufacturers, boots manufacturers, weapons dealers, etc...

I want peace, but we were attacked--we haven't finished defending ourselves yet. By the way--Israel was attacked too. I believe they also want peace. The last I heard was they wanted a safe zone near their border--they are not invading.

Most of the American people do. Really. Somehow we've lost control of our government. It's time to take it back!
