The tri-colours of indian flag are Saffron, White and Green.
Saffron for Courage.
White for Truth and Peace.
Green for Faith and Prosperity.
In the centre of the flag, there is a navy blue wheel with twenty-four spokes, known as the Ashoka Chakra, taken from the Ashoka pillar at Sarnath.
