b.t ,s anti-virus (norton)is not too bad but you should be using a scanner such as f-secure or nod32
both these scanners have trial versions so you can give them both a 30 day trial, and probally clean them other 4 viruses aswell
i am with b.t and they are normally quite good accept for the on-line support, where they divert you to india and you cant understand a word they are saying
the reason for the viruses not being deleted is probally the way the scanner works, some clean say 3 viruses and then give you the option to clean the rest on the next start up,but i dont like this way
there is a good free anti-virus called "avast" which can be downloaded from http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html,and installed for 60 days before you have to register (free)
it has some excellent features, and as my wife uses it,she has stayed virus free for the last year and that is better than some payed-for scanners,it also has some great extras like downloadable skins
one of the main features that impressed me was the clean up rate,it stops at every infection and you physically delete or quarintine the infection,so in the case of your viruses every one would be deleted,it also explains to you the name of the virus, and the rating(how severe it is)
give it a go and contact me to let me know the results, also if you are with bt broadband they are updating old routers to the bt home hub free for existing customers
good luck

when u do a virus scan(make sure ur AT is updated) do it offline if it still have the virus then reboot and go into safe mode(by pressing f10 at the start) without internet access and do a virus scan again it shld be able to remove it.

You could try switching to Avast Antivirus and as for the viruses you
found you could try rebooting your computer in safe mode and then try removing those infected files or scanning your whole system in safe mode.
Good Luck! :)

take a note of where the viruses that cant be removed are, then start the pc in safe mode, go to the directory the viruses are in and delete them manually.
good luck
