I have a gmail account and when I try to chat i can't.. it gives me a message about a pop up is blocking..I have disabled my pop up but still will not work and gives me the same messege.. any suggestions???

If you have windows xp, go into control panel, Internet options and under the privacy tab, make sure block pop ups is turned off there.

have you invited the people you want to chat with you yet? on the left hand side of the chat it says something like "invite to chat" it is in each person profile who has or doesn't have gmail.

you can temporarily bypass all popup blockers by holding down the CTRL key while clicking on the CHAT link
