If you're a teen you have to wait for your hormones to calm down. They are what are causing the pimples. Get the gentlest acne face wash and toner and use it everyday. Keep your face clean but don't scrub it. Massage cleanser on with your finger tips, and rinse it very thoroughly. If you feel like you have excessive acne, see a dermatologist but be careful. Most medications for the skin can cause the skin to discolor when exposed to the sun. Not just a weird tan. A permanent change in pigment.

Unfortunately, the initial breakout is part of the process of clearing up your skin. A good skin care system will pull the dirt and oils that are trapped deep inside your skin to the surface. It takes at least 2 weeks to achieve your baseline healthy clean skin. The good news is, once you have reached that point, you will have less breakouts, and the occasional 'hormonal' blemish will go away much faster.

don't wear make up, it'll clog your pores. Wash with a mild soap 1-2 times a day. Don't touch your face if you don't have to. Be aware of what type of facial skin you have. If it's oily, then over washing will only produce more oil. Blott face mid day if neccessary.
