i personally think patsy cline was the best country and western singer....but pam tillis was really good too

A few of my favorites were Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, and Patsy Cline.

Are you kidding?? I could give you a list of female C/W singers that could easily be lumped under the great category... I like her music, but I would not consider her the greatest.

She's more bluegrass than anything I guess, but Alison Krauss blows everyone else out of the water vocally.
