Yeah, you get feelings like pain and cramps for the first couple months as your uterus expands for the first time ever. Or just expands in general.

It lasts throughout prgnancy, buts its most common in the early stages.

Iam 4 months and woke up this morning with those crampy unfomfy pinchy feeligs in my lower abdomin. like where i would get period cramps. Yesterday i had little pinchy feelings next to my belly button. nothing major, i just noticed it is all.

Pregnancy is all about discomfort. lol.

Check out this web site, its the most fun i have found out there.

I have a 15 month old son, and just found out I'm pregnant again. In my last pregancy, my doctor explained that those pains are the ligaments that hold the bottom of the uterus where its supposed to be. As your uterus grows the ligaments have to stretch, (which they dont when you're not prego). The stretching is painful. Sometimes very. He told me he gets questions about this all the time, and I really varied...somedays not very bad, just little pricks or uncomfortableness, every once in a while a strong one. They'll pass. Don't worry.

Throughout my entire pregnancy I had pains on my sides, about where my ovaries would be. Mostly on my left side but sometimes on my right.. The dr assured me this was just ligament pain where the uterus was growing and it was nothing to worry about.
