Win32 cabinet self-extractor problem?

My operating system is windows xp.when i installing software, a message comes,"Win32 cabinet self-extractor has encounted a problem and needs to close."How i can solve this problem?please help me. i want to know that software that i use is not pirated.i use it since 3 years but message comes from yesterday.

Well, look up a tutorial on the Win32 Cabinet Extractor.

I'm quite computer saavy, and if I wanted to, could extract the .cabs myself with the program, or with a third party application.

You might have to reformat your HDD and reinstall XP.
