Yes, Fire Dusty Baker. Read Cool Breeze's answer again, he knows whats up. And to the guy that said you could not win once D.Lee was hurt, that is so wrong. Albert pujols was out for almost three weeks, and in that time, the Cardinals won 9 games in a row without him.
Here is what the cubs need to do. Fire Dusty Baker, the GM, the president of the Cubs, and every manager and coach from single A ball all the way up to the Pro Team (they should not even be allowed to be a pro team, they should play in the minors until they can prove themselves worthy). After that, they need to release every player except maybe 3 or 4 guys that are on the DL anyway. Then they need to sell the team to a proper and worthwile owner that actually knows something about baseball and can properly hire a coaching and front office staff that wont mismanage players and get them hurt. Then they need to gather every piece of cubs merchandise, uniforms, jerseys, hats, logos, and anything else in chicago belonging to fans and players that has a logo on it. Then they should put all these things inside Wrigley, and burn that old relic, sh*thole, falling apart, ivy infested crackerjack box, house of loosers they call a baseball stadium down to the ground. Then pick a new name that is not as stupid, weak and incompetant as "cubs". Pick new colors, new players and build a new stadium and start fresh.

If the Cubs do not do this, they will continue to suck for the next 98 years, while every other team in the league wins championships.

Is that a question? The Cubs are rotten, and he can't seem to keep players on the field. 1 injury = going to happen. 2 injuries = bad break. 3 injuries = that's weird. Repeating injuries for the past 3 years = bad player management.

Who would they replace him with? Would that person get any better performance out of a team that is riddled with injuries?

The Cubs will never be a winner until ownership is willing to make it one.

Even though The Cubs put out a lousy team every year. their fan base is still 100% better than the southside crybabies!

i think of a bite of driftwood would be maximum appropriate to having Dusty Baker manage any team. he's a robust supervisor, if your objective is to placed on out the hands of all your pitchers and fail to attain runs. Girardi would be a sizable progression, because of fact that he certainly seems to comprehend the game.

Yeah, and the GM, and about 2/3 of the players, and the owners who won't hire a decent GM. Although, then they might actually build a good team and I wouldn't like that since I'm a Cardinals fan.

Only after they fire their GM, he's the heart of the problem. They need to rebuild their entire organization. Their farm system is in deep trouble, their scouting staff is horrible it will take anyone years to correct the issues in this organization.

Yes, but do not stop there. Take the GM too. We need to clean house. We need to stop trying to rely on Wood and Prior, even though he did pitch good yesterday. If they both come back great, were in the playoffs next year, but get somebody to help Zambrano. I think change is needed, i hope they do not trade our good guys, will need them next year.
