I would like to know if they worked well. Did you see a difference in scarring color? Cost, and are they painful??

yea i've tried both procedures and still am... a chemical peel uses glycollic acid to reduce ur sebum production to control ur acne... start with atleast 20% strength.. get it done only by ur dermatologist.. it stings will applying the acid... after that, mild redness or even flaring up of ur acne mite be there... if it persists, then the treatment aint working out for ya...

microdermabrasion impinges some sorta crystals throught vacuum onto ur skin surface to polish it... it removes uneven skin tones and any mild acne scarring... and makes ur skin smoother...

well about cost i dont know cuz i live outside the united states... hope this info has helped u..

I have done both. I did the chemical peels for about a year, one every month, starting with 30% up to 50% glycolic acid. By the way go to the dr. office, not the spa, they are not as strong. Loved them, kept my skin smooth and perfect. Still do them 3-4 times a year.
As for the microderabrasion... did it twice. Doesn't feel so good. Overall the results were just ok, smooth skin, healthy glow, but for the pain and the cost, I like peels($50.00 or so compared to $225.00 for the parisian peel at the skin doctors).
Enjoy!!

Mary Kay has a great microdermabrasion set. I use it and see results instatnly. For a free sample, or to order it, go to this web site: http://www.marykay.com/realius/whatsnew/freesample/default.aspx?tab=whatsnew

Cost is $55 for a 5-6 month supply.

I had a microderm abrasion and it made my face break out!

I haven't ever had an acne problem, but I hated getting even one pimple so I started using ProActiv. I love it!!! The scarring also fades away with this stuff. I've used it for three months now.
