Well.... I'd have to say Everytime, Britney Spears, because I love Britney Spears, I love the song, plus, it reminds me of a happy time in my life, as I heard that song a lot on the radio and on MTV during that time!!

Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac.

Right after that is We Can Work It Out by the Beatles

Stairway to Heaven by Zep

Constant Craving by kd lang

I like a mixture of open space and notes, plus I'm partial to droning sounds. All of these songs have that, as does a few other songs I like.

Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult

Scarlet Begonias by the Dead

Who's Crying Now by Journey

Been A While by Staind

Hey You by No Doubt (deep cut off the second CD).

Kid Charlemaigne by Steely Dan

Rikki Don't Lose That Number (ditto)

Smooth Operator by Sade (the long, long, long 8 minute version)

Killing Me Softly by Robert Flack

Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind

Sunny Came Home by Shawn Colvin

Boy that was a good year for music. Alanis, No Doubt, Smash Mouth were all still on the charts and Third Eye Blind and Colvin were dominating cross over. We haven't seen a year like that in ages!

I wouldn't call it a favorite, but I can easily get into Speed of Sound by Coldplay.

Every now and then I go off on a tanget angle

When I Come Around by Green Day

Living in Beverly Hills by Wheaser

Wrong Way by Submlime

But even these have some elements of that tantilize my psyche!

While these are overwhelmingly "pop" tunes, there are some cuts most of you never heard of unless your fans. Hey You, Scarlet Begonias, etc.

My favorite song (right now) is What's Simple Is True, by Jewel. (As you can tell -- she's my favorite aritist.) But for a while, I was really liking the song Promiscuous, by Nelly Furtado. In fact, it's still at the top of most of my playlists.

Giving It Up For You by Holly Brook. It's wonderfully written and performed, and it has so much meaning. Here are the lyrics...

Though I'm young and cynical
That's not my only crime
I've been stealing all your cigarettes
To save another dime
In case you haven't noticed I just gave them all away

Tell me what do you think of me now
That I've traded all my armor for a crown
Come on what do you do with me now
That I've taken down the mirror on the wall
And the sweet rain is ready to fall
Giving it up for you

Well I take a lot of medicine
I don't really need
I was drinking at eleven
Getting high at seventeen
So now I don't appreciate the taste of expensive wine

Tell me what do you think of me now
That I've traded all my armor for a crown
Come on what do you do with me now
That I've taken down the mirror on the wall
And the sweet rain is ready to fall
Giving it up for you

Take your aim like artemis
And kill another dove
But when your heart becomes a hunter
You may wound your chance to love

Tell me what do you think of me now
That I've traded all my armor for a crown
Come on what do you do with me now
That I've taken down the mirror on the wall
And the sweet rain is ready to fall
Giving it up for you

Giving it up for you.

All her songs are amazing, though. Her CD Like Blood Like Honey is awesome and I'm addicted to her music.
