Back in 1990 -93 I heard this great song on the radio. It reminded me of Front 242 or Skinny Puppy. It was dark, edgy industrial dance mix that talked about arson. The singer started out singing about pouring the gas, lighting the match, feeling the burning on his back as he ran out the place.
That song gave me the creeps because it made arson sound so great... I knew it wouldn't last long on the radio. That song was destined to be banned. Sure enough, I stopped hearing it. Then later Firestarter came out by Prodigy. It had almost the same feel but not as volitle as the first song I heard. I would love to find out who sang that "arson" song if anyone remembers it...

Could it be Creation in the Fire by Quitter?

Lyrics:
where’s the fuel where’s the engine where’s the pressure and release are you a muse or match creation made to burn accelerates woven into words you see the artist in the arson you see potential in decay creations in the fire shape the flame find the beauty in the burn creations in the fire a thousand singing voices in the ash mix emotion in the nitrate timers set for counting down you are the nucleus around which all revolves architecture holding up the walls.
