It is honestly all in what you like. For me.....I love tall men, with dark hair who are close to an athletic build but not quite there. I love them wearing slightly baggy jeans, long sleeve t-shirts with a button down shirt over it. but not buttoned. Also one who wear like black addidas. I am not one for men dressed up. And cut off jean shorts to me are a HUGE turn off.

I think a tailored suit or tux looks sexy. With shorts though it depends on the man wearing them. Not ALL men are sexy in shorts. Maybe your girlfriend is basing that on how YOU look in shorts.
