There is a standard scam for all online sales that comes to mind. Something about overpaying by a couple hundred dollars, then after you reimburse them you find out that the original payment (even a money order) was no good.

There is also a new warning happening in our area. People who look for local sellers selling large items. They buy it extra high, then ask for personal delivery instead of shipping. When you get there they rob you. We are recommending that people do all such actions in public, preferably someplace with a guard. Such as saying "well it would be easiest if we meet at my bank"

You will more than likely get emails that look like they are from eBay or Paypal wanting to update your information. They will ask you everything, passwords, bank account numbers..ect. Never reply to these and always report them.
