I am really interesting in Pole Dancing and would love to become a dancer. However, I want to know how people view them. What do you people think of them?

It all depends on how you carry yourself when the pole dancing is over, if you act like a lady when you are not pole dancing there's nothing wrong with it, some college students does it to help pay their tuition and if people think that it's nasty it's because they don't have the body or courage to do it, I say go for it

It depends on the situation. If you are pole dancing for the sake of staying in shape, it is sexy and fit but if you are pole dancing at the beer garden to earn some money, then, it is slutty and wrong.

Look pole dancing at a club is sluttish try pole dance as a hobby try to find a place where u could buy and install one its also a great excercise believe me u will lose lots of weight and i 2 am interested in pole dancing

I think of them in both ways.
Sexy and fit. Well because damn it, it is sexy.
Slutty and wrong. The way I look at it is would I want my mum, sister or wife or friend to do it. The answer to that is no. For this reason I don't go to strip clubs. I know I'd enjoy it, but I feel like if it isn't right for my family then I shouldn't encourage other people either.

Just as American dancers come in both of those descriptions and more, I assume the same is true of the Poles.

A lot depends on what is expected of you from the Pole Dance.
Some of the guys want them slutty and brazen.

HONESTLY only other girls say its wrong but im another girl and i love it lol.
i want to be a dancer not pole dancer cause i dont know how lol but its great pay and would be so fun!

A sad life to live. I mean sure they can be pretty girls, but that doesn't mean they arn't slutty. They are pole dancers common now u think that there is one out there that isn't slutty?!?

It depends on where you're doing it! If youre doing it at home for the benefit of your HUSBAND then go for it. If youre out in public doing it, then you are just plain nasty and degrading yourself. Some things are better left at home - like your DIGNITY! Everything isnt meant for the public eye, but on the other hand, nothing is wrong when its between one man and one woman.
