Is it just me or is that chacater "ODDLY" attractive?? I may need to get some new contacts...But my mother agreed with me.. there is something unsually sexy about the man. Is there something about him that just stands out? Or is just becasue of Johnny Depp?

Girl u and me need 2 go 2 the movies 2gether!! I LOVE Captain Jack Sparrow. Im glad sumone finally agrees. He is a fine man. And u aint lying. There is something attractive about him. U have got 2 see the Rolling Stones magazine. Hes on the cover!!!!I think its the way he walks and talks that makes him attractive.

I'm pretty sure it's because it's Johnny Depp. I mean think about it, replace Depps face with Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) or Dustin Diamond (Screech from Save By The Bell) and tell me if you still find him oddly attractive.

I think it's basically because of the whole Johnny Depp thing, people look past what he looks like and just see Johnny..
But then also probably because of the way he acts in the movie, too.. I mean, he's freaking hilarious in the movies haha.. so that kind of adds to the attractive factor, y'know?

I don't think it's just cause it's Depp cause I watched Secret Window and some other movies he was in and it in no way had the same effect. But when he plays Jack Sparrow he's just so Hot!! I don't know what it is but every woman I know likes him!!

Its not necessarily the character himself, but the way Johnny Depp portrays him. And I've noticed this, too.
It is because of his general aura, but I think this attraction for him is mainly limited to one trait: the naturality of the expression. Most men's expressions, if you've noticed, are pretty static even when they're showing deep emotions. His expression seems 'alive' all the time.

Nothing odd or unusual about it, the man himself is just perfectly sexy. He's calm, laid back and beautiful. Any character he plays is sexy, including Edward Scissorhands. He's feminine and yet masculine at the same time. How many men can do that and get away with it, I ask! Eyeliner is not a friend to most male celebs.

I believe it's 100% because of Johnny Depp, but some say that the androgenous addition makes women swoon. Theatrically, he can play in anything.
