how many of you would work for 8-10 hrs a day in the heat, rain, and any where for about 5 bucks an hr?would you dig ditches for that amt?
yes they are illegal but they do jobs we as white people are too proud to do,, personally i'd rather hire someone to do my heavy work outside and feed them lunch than get out there and do it myself somedays...

So what you are saying is you don't want to pay more than 5 bucks an hour. That's why this is all such a problem. Where does it stop? Maybe they will teach our children for 10 bucks an hour. That should put our teachers completely out of work. Don't lecture me about what white people are too proud to do. My parents and grandparents and great-grandparents were the ones who done all those jobs as this country grew. I would do those jobs if I were homeless and hungry, in fact I do do those jobs on my own property all the time. White people in my city volunteer for free to help improve properties of the elderly and poor all the time.

Yes, there are people who would do those jobs that aren't ILLEGAL Mexicans. The ILLEGAL Mexicans just do it with no benefits and then we have to pay extra in taxes when they get hurt and get to go to the emergency room for free.

Have you ever seen the TV show dirty jobs on the discovery channel. http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/dirtyjobs/splash.html. They're a lot of people who aren't Mexican doing some insanely disgusting jobs, that may even illegals wouldn't do. Construction work and farming can be done by anyone, its been done over the centuries by people all over the world. It's ignorant of you to assume that Mexicans are the only who will do it.

Its also ignorant of you to hire someone to do your heavy work and pay them below minimum wage, just so you can spend 1.50 less an hour.

Also, you should note the term ILLEGAL. Not all of the ILLEGALS come over here for legitimate jobs, some participate in drug trafficking and human trafficking to make money. Didn't you hear that one of the most dangerous up and coming gangs MS-13 is a Mexican one, and many of their members are ILLEGALS or come from and illegal immigrant background.

So get your facts straight and stop being so ignorant.

I myself would not do that kind of work, unless I had no choice and that was the only thing I could do to support my family. I am thankful that they r here doing those kind of jobs, even if they r illegal. And these people deserve more then minimum wadge for the kind of work they r doing. Shame on the companies that hire them and pay them next to nothing.

Oh. I forgot, I'm not to proud to do it, I just hate being out side.

The fact that everybody seems to be missing here is that they are why the wage is $5.00 an hour.One of the main reasons people hire illegals is because they will work so cheaply.So,in effect,they are taking our jobs.They are also ruining our economy.Most of the money they make ends up being sent to Mexico.Our economy depends on wages being recirculated in to it.So,actually,they are not just taking these jobs.They are completely removing them from the economy.

I agree thoroughly with you for that. But the problem is, what they are doing is illegal, because the expenses to become legal is very pricy.

I definitely wouldn't do that kind of work, but another problem for that is that sometimes they take occupations such as accountants, teachers, etc. that many Americans would like to have, so some are kind of angry at the illegal immigrants, since they are blaming them for being unemployed and such. :-S

This is something that bothers me alot being that i am mexican born and raised in the USA!I do have family that has comne from across the border, if you have been to Mexico then you would understand why these people are so willing to work for such little money.
