Nausea is one of the signs of pregnancy, but because of the fact that other factors aside from pregnancy can trigger nausea (such as an illness, food poisoning, etc.), nausea is not a sure indication that you are pregnant. Some women don't get any nausea while pregnant, so there's a lot of variation when it comes to pregnancy symptoms - it's rather hard to go by just one symptom to find out what's going on with your body.

The common signs of pregnancy are:
-sore or tender breasts
-nausea with or without vomiting
-fatigue
-a missed period
-urinary frequency
-headaches
-increased leukorrhea, or vaginal discharge
-bloating
-constipation or diarrhea
-food cravings, food aversions
-noticeable bluish veins under the skin, particularly under the breasts
-darkening of the areola, tiny bumps on areola

Some not so common but still occurs in pregnant women:
-acne, oily skin
-hair thickens
-insomnia
-spotting or light bleeding around the time period was supposed to come
-dizziness
-mild cramping, kinda like the ones you get before period comes

KNow that you may get all of the symptoms, or only some, or even none of those and still be pregnant. Every woman reacts differently to the pregnancy hormone, so every woman has different experiences.

The best way to know if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test as soon as you miss your period- either an at-home test (like e.p.t. or First Response, etc.) or one at the doctor's office (a choice of a urine test or a blood test).

Goodluck!

Nausea can be caused by many things including stress, sickness or hormonal imbalance. The best way to find out if you are pregnant is to take a Home Pregnancy Test.

Not necessarily....one thing I noticed with my nausea was that my breasts LOOKED larger and hurt a little. This seemed like a dead giveaway to those around me. You also have a "glow" about you, you're tired a lot and have headaches. This is just what I know from experience though.

I would say that you should take a test! :)

It can be but nausea doesn't usually set in until a couple of months. Your first sign would be a missed period. I used to dry heave every morning just because my job stressed me out.

Take a test at the doctor's office for confirmation. It's worth it and a peace of mind for you.

WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING? THERE ARE SEVERAL SIGNS OF PREGNANCY. YOU COULD BE PREGNANT OR YOU COULD HAVE A VIRUS OF SOME SORT! TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST AT ABOUT SIX WEEKS IF YOU'RE STILL FEELING QUEASY!

Not necessarily. You might have a virus or just low blood sugar.

it depends on "totality of evidence", did you miss your period, are your breasts sore?, what other symptoms are you experiencing.

Are you under stress?
