Know a good site for contract accounting jobs in Los Angeles?

I am not looking for full time, but part time to help business with their accounting and banking. Account Temps no good because they are mostly for entry level jobs. I am looking for higher level jobs, paying like $ 40-50 an hour.

Visit the LA Craig's List - http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ - both the jobs and the gigs - and Indeed.com.

Also, look at all the employer sites you can find to see if they have any PT accounting jobs (see http://www.job-hunt.org/jobs/california.shtml).

Or, a former employer, perhaps?

The price range you are looking for makes me think of CareerJournal.com or - maybe - RiteSite.com (fee) or 6Figurejobs.com.

AND, I would look for a good recruiter in the financial services field - hopefully a retained recruiter vs. contract recruiter. Be careful with them - one that is a bit ethically-challenged could ruin opportunities for you.

Last, but NOT least - network! Probably the best way to find good jobs, but not a quick fix unless you already have a network in place.

You may wanna try through the temp agencys... Im in Orange County and thats pretty much how everyone does it here..
