I saw a magazine spread with brave women who came on and ADMITTED they regretted having kids. Shame for the kids but let's not pretend this doesn't happen. Else why are there so many kids in care and up for adoption And that's the ones who WERE born......

There are soo sooooo many times I regretted having children.... not because did not want them ... I do want them... not because I didn't love them.... I do love them.... not because there was any fault with them or me at all....

But oh the horrid horrid pain that a mother feels when herchildren are hurt, lonely, suffering in any way.... it is ten tmes more pain when it is your children that are hurting than when it is you..

Please make sure that you get your facts straight when you mention how women give there kids up for adoption "because they didn't want them". My kids are adopted out for their safety. Their bio father was very abusive and I'm actually really glad my daughter didn't meet him. A far as fostering goes, yes and no. It could be that a parental figure past (being that it was the only one that they had) and there was no other family member capable/available to take care of them.

The only reason I regret having my kids is in the now- how the world and society is and bringing them up in a city-neighbourhood/town where there is so much violence and nothing is being done about it, other than fighting back with the same actions.

I love my kids and I hope that they have nothing but the very best going for them in their life and maybe one day, we will meet again.

I think I could've waited a bit longer before having my son. I had hi mthe same year I graduated high school. It's been tough sometimes but good memories have evolved as well. That's my only regret.

What's worse is that I was the "I hate kids, I want 100 cats when I get old" kind of person.

Such irony.
