Yeah it was great but then I made my hubbie get up in the middle of the night to stand outside the bathroom door cause I was too scarred to go on my own, bring it back, the oldies are the best.

I recall the series well. It actually came out in early 1978 and ran for 2 series. It appeared a year before Tales of the Unexpected which surprised me. I thought 'TotU' came out a while before ( I guess it just ran longer).
The other one that really got to me was Hammer House of Horror. I remember 'The House that Bled to Death' and 'Tennis Court'. Creepy s***, the lot of them.
I say bring em back and show our kids what real horror was about!

WOW, the name rings a bell, i'm now 36.
It must have been on in the late 70's - early 80's.
Do you have any of the series or can they be bought on dvd.

Ooh me too. Did you watch the one called "The Black Nun"? OMG that scared me so much i've hated rocking chairs ever since.
