I have tried for years now to wear tampons, but they just never feel right. They always feel as though they will slip out (some have). I have three children, so its not because I am set up differently. I have tried all kinds of brands and at different times of the month just to see if there is a difference. Anyone else like this?

I used tampons until I had my third child...now they are totally uncomfortable. I have found however that if I use a light absorbancy I can't feel it for a few hours and then all I have to do is change it. Plus it could also be that you are not positioning it correctly. In my experience the best way to position the tampon is to insert it standing with one foot on the edge of the sink. When inserting it point the tip toward your lower back (not upward). Definately make sure it goes in all the way sometimes you may have to insert your finger to push it farther in if you still can feel the tampon. I hope this information works for you. Good Luck.

I can use tampons, but for some strange reason, I can't use the bigger ones. I've always been a heavy bleeder, but since having my kids, I've had to go from the super/super plus down to just regular. The bigger ones are painful. I have a somewhat prolapsed uterus, so I think this might have something to do with it.

i was until i was 22. you might not be putting them in far enough, especially if they are falling out. if you're not too embarassed, you can probably call your doctor and have them do it for you one day (not on your period tho cause that wouldnt be fun for anyone), just so you can see what you're doing (if anything) incorrectly.
