I myself am 6 feet around 150 and have always been very athletic and can pull my weight doing physical work along men with more muscle mass, eat less than most, look young for my age yet I've always been insulted as being too skinny.

That's nothing new, guys have been teased for being too skinny for a long time now. Being underweight can have the same stigma as being overweight. It's not right, but society promotes a certain type of beauty and we all have to fit into that category. With women, I think a main concern is not dating a guy who weighs as much or less than they do b/c it makes them feel fat or less of a woman (since our category is to be "petite" and skinny). If you feel fine with your body weight, just don't pay attention to what other ppl say. Find someone who appreciates the way you look. There are lots of women who like skinny men, just keep looking.

Maybe it's because the women around you find it hard to compete with, I mean would you want to walk around with someone so much skinnier than you, making you appear bigger in comparison. I know you might find that shallow, but insecurity works both ways, and anyway I think there is MUCH more prejedice towards the overweight than the skinny. However, I think if you keep up the lifting weights and stuff, you will be able to turn your skinny-ness into buff-ness. I know I find men with a little bulk on them hotter, but that is just me.

I'm sure you look great, A lot of women want men who look heavier than they are. I know a lot of women who like skinny guys, and a lot who like guys who are larger. Its a personal preference I think. But with so much pressure being put on women about there size, I don't think many women want to look even bigger along side a tall slim man.

Maybe becuase men put so much emphasis on woman that are over weight, Its a retaliation against men that are smaller than them. I personally like my men with a little meat on his bones so i dont look fat.

It's just 'standard' for men to have muscle. I don't agree with the prejudice part. Maybe you could try wearing clothes that make you look a bit 'bigger'.

I find slender/slim/skinny men to be extremely attractive.

Whoever said you looked bad, can pretty much die. ;)

it probably has more to do with the insecurities of fat people, don't let them bother you.
fat people are the ones with the problems, not you, since as you say you are athletic.
