Your spine is compressing and more or less squeezing out the liquid cushion between the vertabae this liquid inflames the nerves to let you know somethig is wrong. unfortunately there isn't much you can do it will get better after the baby. I got to the point I couldn't stand it would take 2 or 3 tries to get up, once I got up it was better. try to take it easy good luck and congratulations PS if its really bad or continues after baby consider a chiropracter. I forgot a pregnancy message therapst does wonders but doesn't cure the cause

It is from your ligaments ad joints stretching in anticipation for birth.. I had the same thing while pregnant with both my children...i had csectons so I really did not need to preparee for birth, lol..It goes away quickly after birth however..but it is bothersome and painful..Just be extra careful while walking as my leg would sometimes go numb...Put a pillow behind your back while you sleep and sort of roll back on it as if to be sleeping at an angle not upright on your side..Put a pillow between your knees to releive the pressure...

I had this problem. What it is, is the baby lying on one of your nerves. Nothing you can really do about it. Happened to me much earlier than you, and I fell several times cuz of it, feels like you're leg's gonna give out, a strange tinging type of feeling. Luckly you only have a little more to go. Dr. told me there was nothing I could do,
everything hurts at this point in the preganancy

baby is pushing on a nerve . . keep changing positions . . or the other scenario, when you are pregnant, your muscles and joints pull and stretch, getting ready for deliver . . you should go back to normal after delivery . . . good luck

I had the same problem and my doctor told me not to get over heated and to drink plenty of water! And relax and take it easy!
