There was a comment about Illegal Immigrants not paying taxes but infact they do, not only when they purchase something, but also from their pay check just like all of do, the only difference is that that they can't always file their taxes and they don't get money back like lots of us do.

tRiKs...just wanted to let you "gringo" like you said know, that maybe I am young..not a kid and I myself wont rely on goverment like you plan for your retirement. Your probably concerned cus you're alot closer to reaching that age, but I my friend at the young age of 25 work in Real Estate for a living and own several houses that I plan to have paid off by the time I retire, and the income off my rentals will be my retirement money...seems to me as a conflict of interest you don't want somebody to take govement money before you do.

The minute men would make great "brownshirts"(see 1930s Germany). This issue? To me it's all "smoke and mirrors", first it was gay marriage that would "destroy america" but now that has gone by the wayside the new "threat" is now illegal immigrants. Minute men are a example of what america is turning into...and it aint good.

Well, illegal immigration is a big problem in the U.S. Firstly, though it is a great help to the U.S., it is as you said...illegal.

I think any immigrants who doesn't have the money for the U.S., should work for a while, in exchange for five years of lodgings, food, and rights, and then after those five years are over, they are legal. I think that is how you should solve the answer.

The Minute Men, are farmer-soldiers back in the Revolutionary War. I think they are courageous, but a bit rash.

You're just another child who doesn't have her facts straight, and doesn't want to research it either. Believe what you want, you're going to anyway and no matter what others show you is the truth. Down the road when you want what you think is rightfully yours from Medicare and Social Security, it will only be there if the Minute Men are successful. Otherwise, go ask your illegal buddies for a handout; but don't get offended when they are laughing at such a stupid and naive "gringo"

my views on immigration are that they will never find a true effective method of stopping the flow into the united states. someone will always out smart the border officials. as for the minute men project. i think that's a matter left for our national guard and not a bunch of boy,s wanting to play army. if they feel they need to be out there protecting us from immigrants and terrorist why don't they just join the national guard?

I have a friend who is a mexican american border patrol and I learned that the wife of a terrorist was trying to cross the border into Texas, and that my friend is what one of the issues are, the government and the media doesn't want you to know this, the other is, how many more people from other countries can we continue to support, I worked at a hospital for many yrs. and I saw how many illigals on a daily basis are treated with your tax dollars. If our government is so ignorant or blind to this dangerous situation today welcome the Minute Men anytime.

we need to close the boarders and put more minute men at our boarders. I'm tired of having to illegals taking OUR resources and NOT paying taxes. We should make illegal immigration a felony, it is in Mexico.

I think it's fantastic that these guys are taking it into their hands to protect their properties. If you want something done, you have to do it yourself, ya know!

If Texas had thought to do it years ago, there would be a ton of land owners that would be a lot happier today. They wouldn't have had to deal with busted irrigation lines and destroyed property and ruined hospitals.....
