why do we have to worry about something which is still in 4 years.......anyways....i think they will do just fine...if they were unable to do it...it will be done in another african country because 2010 is suppose to be in Africa
the country will be Tunisia....because they took the second highest points(votes)after south Africa

Determining whether one Cup is "better" than another is a subjective process.

Certainly, from a crime perspective the South African experience will be worse than Germany.

Cup 2010 will have an African flavour to it, and if you like that you'll prefer the 2010 Cup. Course, Germany doesn't have Cape Town in it either - and Cape Town is the most fantastic city in the world!

I agree with Soccacrazy. South Africans and all Africans are so "crazy" about football that they will ensure that it is a beautiful tournament.

My bet is that it will be the best tournament yet.

In fact, I hope to attend if I can swing it.

And I should add that the crime issue for me is a moot point. This tournament has to happen. The risks, real and imagined, need to be taken because...

...of all the good it will do. For Africa and us all, the world over...

So we risk what? Theft? Even a little blood?

Well...I say...whatever is lost by whomever during that tournament will be repaid in a grand cosmic way when Africa hosts the most beautiful cup of all time...

Hey, i'm from s.a. and i personally think we'll be able to host a great world cup! we're building all 9 stadiums at the moment, and everything is going according to plan. the only real problems is the public transport and the crime. i think with all the cash we're recieving, the transport won't be a prob, and every1 here is into soccer (except the macho boys who dig rugby!) and all of us will make a effort to stop the crime! the world cup being held here can only improve our country!

They will have a hard job to do, but being the proud nation it is, they will hopefully pull it off.
Also they are very much aware that to the world they represent not only their own nation, but the continent as a whole.
