I am staying at m y sisters home right now and there are flies everywhere in the house! it is so annoying!. They are mainly in the kitchen, but are finding their way around the house. we have sprayed and that works for the moment. 30 minutes later there is a whole swarm full all over again! we have tried the glue strip[s and the spray, the foggers even. all that works temporarily. Is there something we are missing?! How can we get rid of these pesky house flies?!

Get a ziplock bag and fill it full of water. Hang it from the ceiling. I SWEAR this will do the trick! Al of the flies will swarm on it instead of you!

There is probably something dead in the area or a lot of garbage in the kitchen. Make sure the screens are tight in the windows. It seems like they are breeding somewhere in or near the kitchen however. You need to find the source. You can usually find the source by the putrid smell.

Apparently there is something drawing the flies to her house. Look for any garbage cans uncovered, anything that might have died nearby. Hate to say that but critters can get into spaces and die and you wouldn't know it. Or even septic tanks that are not working properly. Whatever..but there is something drawing the flies to that vacinity.

The flys are attracted to something, food left out, dog/cat mess what ever it is they are there for a reason, find that reason, also fix the problem on how they are getting into the house in the 1st place.
