hotmail is msn email server if you give out your hotmail address anyone from around the world who knows it can send you junk email so dont open the email if you don't know who it is from even if it says its from msn hotmail that way your be safe ..

Are you talking about SPAM? I think our e-mail is scanned loosely for keywords. For example - if I buy a pair of shoes online, next week I have 6 catalogs from companies I never knew existed. IM is Instant Messaging -- it's like chatting with a help representative. You and your friend are online at the same time. You type a message, wait until your friend opens it and responds, then you reply, on and on. Unless you have a lot of time to waste and it is not a long distance call, use the phone.
