Conservatives dont want to put everyone else down they want people to do things for themselves and not look for handouts...

Most terrorists are Islamic... if all Islamics are terrorists then we would have killed every Islamic person in the U.S. by now.
Liberals do want to raise taxes which is stupid... why should I have to pay for people that cant help themselves... I agree some cant help themselves and I am all for helping them out... but if someone can work then they need to get a job.

They don't murder anyone, they wouldn't have the stomach for it. Look its not just the neocons, they just represent what is really wrong with our country as a whole. 2 Parties that preach the noble ideals of liberalism and conservatism, but as soon as they get in office, it is all about getting paid. That's why the big energy companies now write our pollution laws, the big telcom companies can squash net neutrality, and the military industrail complex can decide who the next big threat is.

Labels like conservatives and liberals are next to useless except for trolling zealots who just want to get attention.
Bush certainly is not a true conservative. Arlen Specter, a true conservative, has filed a lawsuit against Pres. Bush for his very non-conservative act of not approving ANY bill this term. He lets them go through but says he may or may not follow them due to security concerns. Constitution out the window!
True conservatives abhor what has happened to the budget surplus & the nations current record debt!
True liberals are not for raising taxes just to feed people who are unwilling to help themselves.

You can't use such a broad term as 'conservatives' as many people who would class themselves as conservatives will have different views on many issues. Within conservatism there are many different sets of beliefs and morals and while some may be as you pointed out not all are. You shouldn't use blanket terms as its not as simple as that.
