Imagine that the events of the novel took place in modern day North America. How might the plot be different? How might the characters be?

You really need to do your own homework. There's a difference between "helping" and doing it for you.
Read the book. Think about the world today. Imagine a white woman accusing a black man of rape - and being so obviously lying about it. What would happen?
Read the book, that will help.

at the time Harper Lee was writting to kill a mocking bird the social climate would have been uppermost in her thought. Blacks who had fought for thier country during the second world war, were starting to demand more civil rights, for instance their right to vote and desegregate. the blacks civil rights movement took on a new vigour. Alabalma was an important centre in the movement.This led to a novel which is a mixture of nostalgia, criticism and pehaps guilt, typical of white southern american writters of the time who had gained some perspective on the ways of the isolated communities in which they grew up.

To Kill a Mockingbird took place when there were race laws in the South. Since the Civil Rights Movement, a lot of that has changed. Think about how racism has changed - we no longer have laws supporting it!

"Anyone who HAVE........"???? What is that? Is that English?? You may not be quite ready for an essay. But if you must, I would suggest a proofreader. Have you actually read this book? If you have, what does it matter if others have read it? Concentrate, and try to write actual complete sentences, and if your teacher is as lax as most are these days it will be impossible to get a failing grade.

Rival gangs/football team supporters/cheerleading squads/companies
use some imagination
(and a grammar checker)

Think about Kobe Bryant and his issue with the white chick in Colorado! they are similar story lines but with different facts... I know that was vague.... think about it...

well the raceism would not be a factor, more layers would help, things would be diffrent alltogether the police would have actully investagated the crime
