It depends on which one you have in the first place, I have some of the earlier versions of it,(i.e Sims Double Deluxe ) and Sims 2. But personally I prefer Sims 2 way more!=) I haven't tried the addons
or anything for Sims 2 but it's the best (in my opinion) compared to the other version! It's easier if you have a updated computer or updated video card. Hope you Enjoy!=) Sims 4 ever!=)

Get the sims 2. Not any of the sims 1 games are as fun as the sims 2. But if you must get 1 buy unleashed

I bought Sims 1 when it came out and haven't got the chance to buy Sims two yet, but Iasked the question which one is better and everyone said Sims two is better. For its graphics, the children grow up and die just in real life. I bought a exanpion pack to get pets on there and it was worth the money.

Sims 2 Nightlife. I thought University was really lame, and I haven't tried Open for Business yet.

I just bought the sims complete collection. It includes the original, Livin Large, House Party, Hot Date, Vacation & Unleashed expansion packs. It think it may even include that Makin' Magic one too.

very addictive, and there is so much more variety because you are playing with actual people all over the world in real time
