historically Muslims and Jews have gotten along very well until Israel came into being. Christians and Europeans have a long history of hatred against the Jews culminating in the Nazi Holocaust. Is the Christian/Eurpoean feeling of guilt projected onto the Arab/Muslims who are, in reality, innocent of this hatred?

I think the current issues are more related to greed than guilt. Lets face it the Jews in the area, and the Jews world wide hold more positions of power in governments and businesses than do those in Palestine or Lebanon. Prior to the world that we live in now, you could support a personal hatred of a group locally, now everything is global and revolves around cash flow.

I don't have one minute of guilt, why should I. If Jews and Muslims are such great buds why the hell do the Muslims have such a problem with the Jews having their own state? Wouldn't you want your bud to have a nice peaceful home? They are not spreading terrorism, they are not teaching hate, they are all working productive people. What is the problem here. The land that was given them was not being used. It was barren swamps. I don't get it.....I just don't get it.

It is my understanding that after WWII when the jews were displaced and taken from concentration camps this small plot of land was given to the Jews by the U.N. I also believe they won it in some war but my knowledge of this history is lacking.
I don't believe they have ever really gotten along. Not since Hagar and Ishmael were sent away by Sarah, Abraham's wife. (Gen. 21.8).
