help me. i have a mini rex who was able to escape from her cage by moving the metal wire cage from the pan. i need a buckle or a latch to secure the metal cage and pan together. any alternatives? like a clamp?

the pan is plastic. not metal wire.

Put a small hole in part of the pan and use a carabiner style clip (looped through the pan hole) to secure the pan to the cage. Make sure the hole is located properly so that the clip can't allow too much movement of the pan.

well i would need more details on what kind of cage it is but you can try lokking at this website for cage supplies and parts that might help you.buying a whole new cage can be kindof exspensive.

if you can send me some more details on the style of the cage i can probally think of something.you might be able to have a spring that has a hook on the end and put one on each end of the cage ,i have those on my cages at home.i hope this helps you!

That is easy buy a new cage or find one for a cheap price at a salvation army or at a yard sale or buy a dog cage

Rabbits shouldn't be on wire flooring. because they do not have padding on their feet like cats or dogs it could cause serious damage. You can litter box train a rabbit. Wood stove pellets and fixing the bun will cut back on smell. http://www.rabbit.org

yes there is. go find a dead rabbit, take the ears off of it, tie the ears onto the cage, your rabbit will stay away from it.

if u put a spring on it , it will be harder to open
