I'm thinking of buying an iPod video but I heard that the batteries in iPods die like in two years then you have to get a new player. I wouldn't want to have to blow another 300 in just 2 yrs. I want something that has a lot of space, can store videos and photos for viewing, and that will last. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't do it. There's too many problems. First, obviously, is the screen. You're not going to want to watch low-resolution videos for an hour or two on such a small screen.

The storage is mediocre and the battery life is far too poor. It couldn't live through an overseas flight in video-mode, that's for sure.

Ipod's batteries are weak and short-lived. They are notorious about scratching up as well as having glitches/crashes/restarting.

Another key thing is that not all videos will play on an ipod 'with video.' Some you'll have to either buy from iTunes or convert them manually to the proper format. It's too much of a hassle and is time consuming.

Look into portable video players like Creative or Archos-- ones that are MEANT to play video. An Ipod "with video" is NOT meant to play video full-fource. "With video" means it can play some videos tolerably, but that's not it's job. There are far better options out there.

actually it has a lithium ion battery that are good for around 500 charges. They play for up to 18 hours before having to be recharged. So, depending on how often you recharge depends on how long the battery will last. Even then you can take it to an apple store and get a new battery for alot less than the cost of a new iPod

If that's the case then your money is not worth it. Just find other model or brand that would assure you to be that durable. there are other model and brand out there that have lots of space and can store videos and photos.

i assume i'm not worth a action picture star because of the fact i've got on no account gotten one (i don't ask stable questions so it quite is comprehensible, i does not supply my questions a action picture star the two), yet i could be worth ten factors because of the fact I certainly are growing to be appropriate solutions
