Check out http://www.premiertravelinn.com They have almost 500 hotels in the UK (excl N. Ireland) and at least dozen Greater London locations. Prices start from 70 pounds - 110 pounds a night. Try to book your nights well before because e.g. the County Hall location near the London Eye and Westminister is packed months in advance. They have locations in Earls Court/Kensington, Fulham, Euston, King's Cross, Tower Bridge, Docklands etc.

Hey try the Regent Palace hotel in Piccadilly in Piccadilly Circus it right in the heart of London and very clean and cheap ok
