It's really a choice between:

East: Blue Jays, Red Sox, Yankees
Central: Tigers, White Sox, Twins
West: Athletics, Angels, Rangers

Concerning the East, I don't think the Blue Jays will make it this year, but they'll have a great run. I have to take BOSTON to win the division unless the Yankees can find new life amidst all of these injuries.

I have to give the Central to the TIGERS. Their starting pitching has been outstanding. Although their record against other playoff contenders, such as the Yankees, Red Sox and White Sox isn't great, they're still the most surprising team this year.

Only because there aren't any teams out west that really open my eyes, I'm going with the ATHLETICS simply due to the fact that the two are about even, they didn't made the playoffs last year, and have the most complete team (I like new faces).

For the wild card, I think the Blue Jays will fall off towards the beginning of September. No team, even the Twins, can keep up the pace they've set of 34-8 over their last 42 games. With the Angels and Rangers nowhere in sight, the wild card will come down to Chicago and New York. For no reason other than my being a YANKEES fan, I'm igiving it to them.

Red Sox win the East, Tigers win the Central, Athletics win the West, Yankees get the Wild Card.

I'm still going to say the White Sox make the playoffs, only for the fact that I don't think the Twins can keep it up, and the Sox can't continue to play this badly with the talent they have.

AL East - New York (with the injuries they've had and still be within 1 1/2 games of the Red Sux says they're the better team, and I don't think Toronto has it to win the division)
AL Central - Detroit
AL West - Oakland (hitting has to come around for them eventually)
AL Wildcard - Chicago

I would say: AL East: NY Yankees (they always find a way)
AL Central: Detroit Tigers (Surprise Team this Year)
AL West: Oakland A's
AL W/C: Minnesota Twins

cant really say yet, still 2 plus months to go yet, but the yanks, red sox, bluejays, tigers, white sox, twins, rangers, atheltics, are all in the thick of it, and only 4 teams get to go, right now everyone would only be guessing, see what happens at the end of august, that is the toughest month for teams to get through. right now, no team is a lock to get in.

AL East - Yankees
AL Central - Tigers
AL West - Angels
Wildcard - White Sox

Hey redsoxfan, there can't be three teams from the same division. You have no AL West champion listed.
