I have those strange pests in my house. I don't know what they are called, but the have very very many legs and are kinda thin. They look like a toothpick with millions of legs. They don't do any damage, they just run very quickly up the wall and on the floor sometimes. Is there any way to get rid of them? Without spraying some poisonous stuff around, cause I have animals in the house.
Please, advise. tks

Grab a few and take them to your local hardware store or gardening center. They'll know what the bug is. Then do research on the internet to find out organic ways to get rid of them.

Centipede, millipede, or I wonder if you're talking about the "silverfish"?

These are harmless but their presence may indicate dampness. Among other things, they feed on glue and starch in paper and bookbindings.

Eliminate dampness by checking for leaky plumbing, condensation, rising damp etc. Insecticides for crawling insects will kill them but for you a better idea might be using a "sticky trap". These can be gotten at most hardware stores.

Sticky Traps: Glue boards are effective for many pests when placed along baseboards and in cupboards where pests frequent. Many insect pheromones can lure pests into the traps and capture them.

Millipedes. They like water, check for cracks in your basement walls or around plumbing. Call an exterminator, they have insecticides that are safe for pets, and they get rid of any and all pests safer than you can yourself.

Hairspray works great for killing most bugs.. specially spiders. it freezes them, then they lick there legs and body and then they die. Thats what I use when I dont have a can on Raid

Squish every one that you see. Eventually, there won't be any more.
