If the total area of perforation is less than 25%, the eardrum will heal on its own most times. If the area is >25%, this should be monitored by a physician +/- application of antibiotic eardrops.

im not a doctor but hearing problem was my research's subject.
what i know is if u got infected ear than there's a possibility to heal, u can make it better with some medicines. but about a ruptured eardrum im not really sure if it's possible to heal. maybe if it's not too bad than it'll heal but im not really sure it depends... how can u get ruptured eardrum ???
my lecturer who was a doctor said that now there's a operation that could fix damaged eardrum..
what u have to do now is to go to doctor just to make sure...
that's the best i advice i could give u now...
hope it'll heal soon :)

yes, i had problems with my ears when i was younger i had gromits in place twice, i have had my eardrums burst on me a few times and it was EXTREMELY painfull, i used to wake up with it hurting really bad, id be crying with the pain and eventually it would pop it was such a relief when it happened, i dont know if they fully heal because i already had problems with hearing before this used to happen and my hearing isnt the best now.
