Do the Islam fundamentalist who want to 'jihad' the world really tick you off?

I mean, are they idiots? They are basically saying 'the rest of the world has to be like us and if they don't want to be like us, kill them'

Sorry, I don't want to suddenly throw away everything I've worked for to dress up in sheets and pray to a make-believe god the rest of my life, while avoid good food, not enjoying myself, and basically being a huge brainwashed stick in the mud. I mean, if they are trying to portray themselves as fanatical evil who will never compromise, they are certainly doing it. They have basically given the free world an immediate opponent and enemy to look at and want to win over.

They are more or less another nazi-like regime that looks at life cheaply and is kill-joy about their actions. I don't see one good thing about 'jihad', not even for the followers that try to force it everywhere they go. They are basically setting themselves to be brainwashed slaves. I don't get it. It frustrates me that such a large portion of the world can be dumb.

Tick me off....hell yes...I am glad you put in the word fundamentalist. That is the key! As far as jihad from what I understand there are two levels/forms. Inner jihad.. fine..we all need to fight our inner demons. Outer or 2nd jihad I believe just like any group of fundamentalists has been taken out of context. It is an excuse. If that 2nd jihad is about killing all infidels and they believe we are the infidels then I say...well... what I think at that point is just plain evil on my part.
They hide behind a so called religious duty to carry out their warped ideas. They make a mockery out of their religion.
For as much as they hate the so called infidels and see it as their duty to kill them..I in turn find them a waste of skin. I see no purpose in their existence and do not care what happens to them. The good thing is I really think they are the minority in their countries and in the Islamic faith.

wow! I cant believe how narrow-minded you seem. I am not trying to make an enemy but I must tell you that you are dead wrong about this whole "jihad" thing. I work with these people everyday and just like us, they have radicals too. Please do not make the mistake of stereotyping because it only makes you look bad. Get the facts before you make a decision. Like I said, my job is specifically centered on that area of the world and it has been a real eye opener for me. I guess I had much the same idea as you before I started doing my particular job. All I can say is dont stereotype because it only emphasizes your own ignorance. Thank you.

Yes, they certainly do. Their lives before they decided to become fundamentalists must have really sucked if they think that what they are doing now is better. They also must be really stupid if they think that if they blow themselves up that there will be any virgins waiting for them when they get to hell.

that sounds seriously racist to me. i have to tell you, if you believe everything you see in the media and on TV, you are seriously ignorant. "reality" shows don't really show reality and television is so censored it is unbelievable.

to tell you the truth, i have no idea why people have branded Arabs or Muslims are terrorists or are questioning their religion. they are the most generous, kind and fun people i have met in my life.
