Does anyone know where I may be able to obtain either the original Paint or the Paint Codes for a 1990 Soft Tail..?(Bad Boy) The Dealers are telling me that it is a "Dark Candy Ruby" and that it was "Custom" and no longer available. I have the SN of the bike....

If the dealers are telling you the paint for your bike is no longer available, what good is knowing the color code? Ship these guys a fender or side cover (I don't know if Harleys have them) and they will custom mix the exact matching paint.

Your best bet is to take your Motorcycle to the body shop and let them take the code and match the original color. Each srial or model I believ it is has a code on it that tells the color of the bike or car. Check into it.

most of the time you can find all that infomation on the neck of the bike in the front where the forks are if not then the title should tell you or even better call your local department of motor vechels and ask them to run the VIN# on it that should tell you your paint color
